Wedding flowers Brighton trends for 2023

Updated: Mar 9

Wedding Flowers Brighton.

If you’re getting married in Brighton & Hove in 2023 and looking for inspiration you’ve come to the right place. There’s lots of wedding flower trends emerging and all them are super exciting.. Influenced by the world of fashion, film and the chelsea flower show here’s a list of trends coming in hot for 2023.

AISLES - Nothing new here, floral aisles have been around for years but this time they’re picking up the trend for lots of textural grasses rather than foliage. Imagine an abundance of beautifully coloured grasses lining the aisle or entrance to your wedding. You’ll need as much as you can get your hands on to make an impact.

COLOUR - Two words BRIGHT. PINK. I’m shedding a tear for the soft tones of millennial pink that have conquered the colour palettes since, well, the millennium, but have you seen the Valentino pink and lime trend? Think pink floyd roses set against gram slam anthuriums and alchemilla. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

When I released my daily flower bouquet colour palette in zesty lime and cerise for a week last September and it was my top seller!

BOWS - Directly influenced by the fashion world, floral arrangements now include bows. Big ones, small ones, velvet ones, tulle ones, long ones, double ones…the list goes on. There’s some beautiful bridal headpiece bows becoming popular that quite frankly i wish it was a thing when I got married. So great to then pick this up in the details of your wedding flowers.

AGRA - It’s pretty widely accepted now that floral foam is a huge no no (it’s an avoidable single use plastic and destroys ecosystems). Welcome to the party agra wool! The newest innovation in eco friendly mechanics for making arrangements and gladly welcomed by the floral community. It’s completely compostable, made from basalt and a type of sucrose (cane or beet sugar) and will biodegrade, unlike floral foam. It’s super exciting that there is a direct alternative to floral foam now and florists have no excuse to not contribute to the worlds plastic problem.

EN MASSE BOUQUETS - The one I’m most excited about. Where bridesmaids bouquets each contain one flower en masse, picking up the flowers from the bridal bouquet. It just looks cool.

All our wedding flowers are hand-made in our studio in Brighton.
